 India to Nepal - 2010/03/07 02:31 Has anybody traveled from India to Nepal overland?

What are the options, bus or train? Where is the starting and ending points of journey? How long would it take and the cost? Is it possible to obtain tourist visa at the border?

I've heard that bus journey is pretty horrible, is it true?
